← SPACE FOR REAL LIFE

More room for your next good idea.

Stock, samples, equipment and archive boxes can take over the space where you work. Give them a clear place in your plan.

Illustrative self-storage architecture

A workspace that can breathe.

A growing business often needs more room before it needs a larger office. Seasonal stock, exhibition equipment, product samples and archive boxes can all compete with your everyday work. Make a list of what you intend to store and how frequently each group needs to be accessed.

Organize around the way you work.

Separate active stock from long-term archives. Label boxes clearly, assign locations to product groups and keep a simple inventory outside the unit. Put frequently used items near the front, and leave enough clear floor space to reach the rest without unpacking everything.

Plan for useful space.

Measure any shelving you intend to use and ask the operator whether it is permitted. Floor area alone does not describe the arrangement: shelves, clearances, the doorway and an aisle all matter. Your size choice should reflect the busiest point in your stock cycle, rather than just today’s inventory.

Talk through the business details.

Ask about access hours, delivery acceptance, vehicle arrangements and restrictions on business activity. A storage unit is not automatically an office or a place to trade from. Confirm the location’s actual policy and agreement before relying on it for operations.

Review as your plans change.

Keep an eye on stock rotation and the items you rarely use. If you need a different size, discuss availability and any change-of-unit terms with the team. Current rates, insurance requirements and suitable storage conditions are confirmed separately.

Footprints are illustrative. Ceiling height, doorway clearances, stacking and a usable aisle all affect the fit.
